Eiler Topic: Recent Legislation Affecting The Hospitality Industry Description: James Eiler, Chair of the Firm's Hospitality Practice Group, was a guest speaker on the topic of Recent Legislation Affecting The Hospitality Industry, at the Fourth Annual Hospitality Law Conference held in Houston, Texas on February 3-4, 2006 at the Inter-Continental Hotel. On the dias with Mr. Eiler was the President of the California Hotel & Lodging Association James Abrams, and President of the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association Scott Joslove. The presentation addressed new and proposed State and Federal legislation as well as new and proposed regulations and ordinances that effect the daily operations of the hospitality industry. The Hospitality Law Conference is the industry's only national conference of In-House Counsel, Out-Side Counsel and Risk Managers from the hospitality industry and is co-sponsored by the General Counsel Committee of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. |
