On March 14, 2012, Firm Partner Timothy Lake will be an invited guest speaker at a teleseminar sponsored by the Insurance Law Committee of the California State Bar. At the conference, Mr. Lake will be discussing:
- Moody v. Bedford which held the pre-litigation settlement of a wrongful death claim by one heir does not preclude other heirs from filing a wrongful death action;
- Cyber attack risks and related insurance issues; and
- An analysis of California Insurance Code Section 11580.9(d).
Mr. Lake is a Partner of the Firm in the Sherman Oaks office and Chair of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Practice Group. He represents insurance carriers on a broad range of coverage issues and related matters.
