SHAWN K. ELLIOTT is a Partner I at the Firm's Sherman Oaks office. His practice focuses on all phases of civil litigation, including arbitration and trial work. Mr. Elliott also represents a variety of clients in matters related to Transportation Law and Insurance and Business Law.

Mr. Elliott’s recent experience includes:

Successfully defending major transportation carriers and insurers against catastrophic accident claims.

Obtaining dismissal of an action arising from the collision of a medical transport vehicle and a minor pedestrian which resulted in permanent disability.

Settling a claim within $15,000 policy limits, and preventing the awarding of punitive damages, in an action involving clear negligence resulting in a double leg amputation.

Defeating a claim for punitive damages and attorney’s fees in an elder abuse/wrongful death action.

Assisting the California Medical Board, Chiropractic Board and Los Angeles District Attorney in prosecuting a fraud action against several doctors and four medical clinics.
