FIRM SETTLES CAL-OSHA APPEAL, AVOIDS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ABATEMENT DEMAND

Litigators Ellen Levin and David Binder of the Firm's Labor and Employment Law Practice Group recently settled an Appeal before the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal OSHA) on behalf of a Firm transportation company client.

In this case, Cal OSHA sought to impose various abatement requirements against the transportation company client as a result of an accident involving one of its employees.

In addition to avoiding a potential multi-million dollar abatement, the Firm's transportation company client received a non-admission declaration from Cal OSHA in the settlement - finding that no wrongdoing had been committed by the transportation company.
