LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT DEPARTMENT WINS MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT
On Tuesday, 9/27/05 Labor and Employment attorneys Christopher S. Maile and David S. Binder won a Motion for Summary Judgment in a case brought against Farmers Group, Inc. In the lawsuit, the Firm's client was being sued for wrongful termination, disability discrimination, and breach of implied contract.
The lawsuit also named an individual employee as a defendant, and claimed that the individual had also discriminated against the plaintiff. In the face of the pending motion, plaintiff's counsel voluntarily dismissed the individual defendant.
