Mr. Ames’ recent experience includes:
- Serving as lead counsel for a major trucking company fighting allegations of multiple OSHA and Surface Transportation Assistance Act violations.
- Obtaining a summary judgment for a homeowner in a fraud, negligence and misrepresentation case.
- Negotiating a multi-million dollar settlement for a subcontractor in complex litigation involving environmental claims stemming from construction defects.
During his career, Mr. Ames has:
- Interned at the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Washington;
- Argued a Social Security case before a Federal Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court on behalf of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the East District of Washington; and
- Successfully argued and defended a case before the United States Department of Labor's Chief Administrative Law Judge.
